Do you quilt? The Historical Society quilting club is busy again sewing another very special heirloom and would love have you join them for this fun activity.

& 10 E. Elm St in downtown Monroe
will be open to the public from 10am - 2pm on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Admission
is FREE!
April 21 - Quarter Auction Fundraiser w/ Monroe Garden Club. Join us for an exciting evening of prizes & fun. Paddles $2 each & most items only a .25 bid! Come hungry, as there will be homemade sandwiches & more!
October - FallFest/Apple Butter Event
We’ll be back at Garver Farms stirring our famous copper kettle apple butter! Hayrides, pumpkins & more!
October 20-21- Monroe Civil War Days
This is the BIG one - a Civil War reenactment complete with rifles, cannon, horses, music, campfires & more. Our log cabin will again play a large part in this event!
December 8 - MACF/Breakfast With Santa
The Society will again be helping children write their Wish List to Santa & playing elf by returning a special message in return. Last year we wrote nearly 200 letters!
December 15 - Come be a part of an old fashioned Christmas at the museum with special guest, Santa Claus, as he recites the Night Before Christmas! Cocoa & cookies for everyone!
